Arsenal: Every single reason not to sell Hector Bellerin

2. He’s still young
When you see a guy for so many years, you may start to lose track of how old he actually is. Bellerin has been in and out of the Arsenal starting XI for half a decade now, so it’s easy to think of him as more of a veteran than a youngster. And he is. But that doesn’t make him old.

Bellerin just turned 25, meaning that his prime years are still ahead of him, and I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready to pass up on the prime years on a man who was once considered to be the best rightback in the world. That’s silly talk. The kind of talk that has us crying out for Serge Gnabry to come home.
With so much room yet to grow, I can see Bellerin going somewhere else and, at 27, fulfilling all that potential he had years ago, solely because he finally got a prolonged stretch on the pitch.
Then we can be left groveling after him, wondering why we ever let him go when he was still so young, so talented, and our captain. Avoid that trouble and just don’t sell him. It really is that easy.
On to the next.
