Arsenal: Where Victor Osimhen ranks among 4 other striker targets

3. Patrik Schick
Patrik Schick is not one of the heavier links to the Emirates, but he is certainly an attractive one. Suiting up at RB Leipzig, Schick has not been a regular fixture in their starting XI. He’s started just ten Bundesliga matches this year, adding five substitute appearances for less than 900 minutes played.

But in that time, he has seven goals and two assists playing a delectable hold-up style of attacking play. He’s a target man on set-pieces, he’s excellent at winning aerial duels, and while his ball control is a bit lacking at times, he can certainly still improve.
Schick plays the game the way we want Alexandre Lacazette to play it and at 24-years-old, he may well serve as a Lacazette do-over, as well as a Lacazette/Olivier Giroud hybrid, which is what I think we needed more than Lacazette anyway.
Schick is not the featured man at Leipzig, with Timo Werner unlikely to be unseated, so coaxing him over to the Emirates, depending on where Werner ends up, could be made easier by preying on his determination to be in a bigger role than he is now.
Let’s get to some familiar faces with the next two.
