Arsenal: Where Victor Osimhen ranks among 4 other striker targets
By Josh Sippie
2. Odsonne Edouard
Odsonne Edouard could well be the next big thing. It’s hard to evaluate a striker coming from a peripheral league like Scotland, but playing at Celtic is far from the slums of the international footballing world. Plus, anytime you have someone who is scoring more goals every single year, you have to take notice.

Such is the case with Edouard, who has been blowing up over the past three years, with this year being his crowning achievement. He is a one-man wrecking crew in front of goal and would be the ideal replacement to take over the mantle left behind by a potential Aubameyang exit. The two share many similarities—their primary use is scoring goals, they aren’t the best with the ball, but give them an open run and you have your threat, they have speed on their side.
The thing with Edouard is, since he does play similarly to Aubameyang and, thus, similarly to Eddie Nketiah as well, he’s a surplus to what we already have. That said, he’s so good at what he does that if Aubameyang were to leave, you won’t find many complaints replacing him with this guy in tandem with Eddie Nketiah.
However, if you feel like something’s still missing there, I invite you to click over to an incredibly obvious and hard to unseat No. 1.
