1. Luka Jovic

In case you’ve missed my other 82 articles about how perfect Luka Jovic is, let me recap it all for you here—Luka Jovic is perfect. He’s exactly what we need at the right point in his career and apparently, he might even be achievable in a friendly swap deal that would see Aubameyang leave. Which solves all of our problems. We can fix the problem created before it is even created.

Jovic is the perfect Lacazette/Giroud hybrid. He’s the kind of guy that is so, so good with his back to goal, with the ball at his feet in tight spaces, and I can’t think of anything I’d rather have in a striker right now. Not only is he a presence in the box, but his finishing ability is on par with some of the best. He just hasn’t had an opportunity at Real Madrid.

Arsenal can fix that.

Arsenal needs someone who can maintain the ball while the rest of his speedy teammates orbit around him. That’s what Nicolas Pepe, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli need to do. Jovic just needs to sit in the box, be a presence, and keep hold of the ball. He’s got the physicality and strength to do it, now he just needs the outlet. That’s the Emirates.

Best of all, he’s only 22, which is just a year older than Osimhen. You can’t do better.
