Arsenal: Top 3 transfer targets from the Bundesliga
By Josh Sippie
2. Jonathan Tah
Another guy who I want linked to Arsenal more. It’s been at least a year since we’ve been heavily linked with him, with only a dull murmur coming up recently, but even with Dayot Upamecano’s links, I always preferred Jonathan Tah. Tah is bigger, stronger, doesn’t lose that much in the athleticism department and he’s proven himself consistent and reliable.

Plus, he would be a heck of a lot cheaper, since Upamecano is hogging all the money talk and transfer spotlight. Everyone wants Upamecano, but no one is swooning over Tah except for me.
If Arsenal signs Jonathan Tah this summer, their defense will be set for five years, easy. Easy. Give us William Saliba, Calum Chambers, and Tah and you’ve got a trifecta of versatility, youth, and promise. Three defenders who can hold down the fort for years to come.
Tah is the top centerback choice period, forget the Bundesliga. You can’t do better than him and how specific of a fix he would be for our defensive problems. So please, just get it done.
Let’s keep it in the Leverkusen family with a very optimistic No. 1.
