1. He’s damn good

What do I say in every single article slating Willian and the rumors of him coming to Arsenal? I’ve always admired the way he plays, I just don’t see how he fits in with the current state of the club. But hell, he’s still damn good, so that being the case, why not go get him? If he gets in the way of youngsters, so be it, they need to get better.

Willian accounts for a lot of what the Gunners need—speed, agility, creativity, and final product. And while he would hypothetically block one or more of Reiss Nelson, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka, he may also be a sensible No. 10 replacement and step into the Mesut Ozil-sized gap in the creative front.

Which is convenient, seeing as how Willian is much more in line with what we want out of that position. He notched 13 assists last season to pad his ever-increasing tally of goal production since making the move from Shakhtar.

Quality talks. And Willian is a quality attacker that could fill the ambiguous “attacker” need at the club.
