2. Rodrigo Bentancur

Juventus always have at least a few guys worth getting involved with. For a while there, it was Miralem Pjanic. Now that they have Aaron Ramsey and Wojciech Szczesny, I feel like they owe us something, not least of all Aaron Ramsey, but in the meantime, their midfield stalwart Rodrigo Bentancur would be a dream.

More from Pain in the Arsenal

This is a guy who does everything. While Bennacer looks like the kind of guy that could do everything, and while he was at Empoli, he did. He still has a lot of growth potential and need. Doesn’t make him any less attractive of an option, but it makes Bentancur even more of an attractive option.

Bentancur plays that holding midfield role with the energy and enthusiasm we need, balancing his defensive duties with his attacking duties. He’s notched six assists on the year to combine with his ball-carrying and ball-winning numbers and at just 22-years-old, looks to be the next great midfielder to come out of the Juve set-up.

With the need to establish a long-term midfield presence, a midfield trio of Partey, Granit Xhaka and the man of the hour Rodrigo Bentancur would be perfect. Just perfect.

Let’s get out of the midfield with No. 1.
