1. Bernd Leno

Bernd Leno has not gotten the credit he deserves since coming over from Bayer Leverkusen. He had his initial problems with acclimating to a new outfit, but since then he has become arguably our best keeper and hands down one of the best keepers in the world.

Much like Xhaka, and hearkening back to Wojciech Szczesny, Leno has also been left stranded at times with shoddy defensive mates and being left to scramble to salvage points. In short, he’s been a miracle worker, and now that the defense is getting better, go figure that he is too.

It’s been a while since we had to stress about the keeper situation and it will be a long time before we have to stress about it again.

At 28-years-old, Leno has been around the block, and as that block becomes more and more of the Emirates, everyone wins. There shouldn’t be any talk of Leno leaving. Ever.
