1. Bruno Fuchs

Probably the guy with the strongest link to Arsenal, Bruno Fuchs was the original encore to Gabriel Martinelli, as he emerged as the second big Brazilian name for Edu to supposedly endorse for a move to the Emirates.

The looming centerback, who at 21-years-old stands at 6’3″ and 181 pounds, has solidified himself as an all-purpose central defender, with an aerial ability to match his proficiency on the ground. He’s just as comfortable in aerial duels, as he is in ground duels, as he is carrying the ball out from the back.

What makes him most like Martinelli, however, is if he were to come to the Emirates, he wouldn’t be asked to do much. There would be no pressure. We’ve already got the defense sorted pretty well, so Fuchs could take his time getting acclimated and when the time comes, as it did with Martinelli, that’s when he can strut his stuff and prove that he was a solution all along.
