1. Ferran Torres

Although there has been no concrete rumoured interest in Ferran Torres, he could be available this summer, and such is his talent, Arsenal would be wise to at least take a look at the situation.

Arteta reportedly would like another attacker this summer, especially with the futures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette up in the air. Torres would provide an electric presence who is in the mould of a classic winger.

Torres is a vertical player. He is dynamic and viciously fast, recognising how to best-utilise his speed from the flanks. He is able to take his man on, likes to run in behind, and sticks to the touchline when he can. Torres’s greatest virtue is when facing his opponent in a one-on-one situation. His technique, dribbling ability and acceleration mean he is able to carve an opportunity out of nothing and can create advantages for the team.

A €100 million release clause is likely to prove a sticking point in any potential transfer, but make no mistake, Torres could be a major feather in the Arsenal attack, especially in the absence of Aubameyang or Lacazette.
