2. £27m is way too low

The rumored price tag that Conte was willing to pay to bring Bellerin to Inter was a measly £27m. So… the same amount that Arsenal sold Alex Iwobi to Everton for, just about.

Bellerin is only 25-years-old, he has always been held in such high regard as to be considered among the best fullbacks in the footballing world, and yet somehow his price tag is only that of Alex Iwobi?

To put this into perspective we can look at his market value, which is…. £27m. And that’s all the proof I need. with inflation, no one is ever sold at just their market value. Ever. It doesn’t happen. Everyone spends too much money and overpays in order to ensure that they get what they want.

I know Arsenal’s track record of selling players isn’t the best, but they aren’t going to let their captain go for no more than his market value. That’s just plain stupid. If you even want to start getting attention, you better be flinging around something like £40m, and even then, you have work to do.

Most importantly, No. 1.
