Front Three

RW. Arsenal. BUKAYO SAKA. 5.8. Got his wish, starting on the wings. Ahead of Nicolas Pepe, no less, but he did the job well, as can be expected. His deliveries were just as sharp from the right as they have been from the left. The problem was just that once Luiz sabotaged the whole effort, Saka had nothing to do but scramble on defense.

LW. Arsenal. PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG. 5.6. Completely disappeared when the match got tough. Love to see him flowing with the youngsters in this attack, but we saw it for all of about ten minutes. Like with so much else, once Luiz got sent off, there was no way back.

5.9. Looked incredibly lively starting up top in the early goings. Made some great runs and off-the-ball movements to cause City some issues at the back. Gave his wingers plenty to aim for. Managed to slip into the defensive side of things more than a few times as well, and you just love to see that. But unfortunately, there was nothing to be made of his attacking presence because the team had no collective attacking presence.. ST. Arsenal. EDDIE NKETIAH
