Central Midfield

5.9. Really quiet in the first half. Only had as many touches as the strikers. Got more involved in the second, but not always in a positive way. Was hoping to see a better defensive effort from him on Brighton’s goal, as he got spun around really easily to allow for the free run into the danger zone.. CM. Arsenal. DANI CEBALLOS

7.8. Man of the Match. His passing was unreal. It was Xhaka. Line-breaking balls that slipped past numerous blue and white shirts towards the Arsenal man that as spectators, we couldn’t even see. Really good movement and ball control. Defensively, he was everywhere. This was textbook Guendouzi, the guy we’ve been so excited about.. CM. Arsenal. MATTEO GUENDOUZI

7.6. What a versatile and incredibly talented young man we have here. Tremendous attempt in the 9th minute to smash the crossbar. Had some great movement and build-up play to get to that position as well. When he slipped out to the left wing, his delivery was sharp and on point. He got the assist for the Pepe beauty and while there was nothing spectacular about the assist, it was well-deserved from the match as a whole.. CM. Arsenal. BUKAYO SAKA
