6.5. Was dragged out of position on a couple of occasions, eagerly stepping into midfield only to see the ball played behind him. But he was much more able in possession than Mustafi, moved the ball quickly, and rarely looked flustered. Definitely more suited to a back four, however.. SUB. Arsenal. ROB HOLDING

JOE WILLOCK. 7.0. Brought energy, drive, ball-carrying ability, and a goalscoring threat. Nearly bent a low effort into the bottom corner, made nice runs off Lacazette and then Nketiah, and helped move Arsenal up the pitch late on. A unique midfielder in the squad.. SUB. Arsenal

7.0. In a one-minute period late on, he delivered three excellent crosses into the box, which is more than can be said for the man he replaced. Made a couple of decent tackles, too, and of course scored a brilliant debut goal, lashing a shot from outside the penalty area into the bottom corner. Bellerin should look over his shoulder.. SUB. Arsenal. EDDIE NKETIAH. 6.5. The first thing he did when he came on was to run down 40 yards, chase three or four passes back to Tim Krul and force a panicked clearance to win a turnover. Showed good hold-up ability at times and is wonderfully energetic. Might now be the starting option ahead of Lacazette.. SUB
