Arsenal face another must-win match as they look to scrape their way back into the Champions League places. On Tuesday evening, the Gunners host Leicester City, who currently sit in third position, nine points clear and still just about catchable. Mikel Arteta’s side enter the fixture in strong form, winning their last four matches in all competitions with three clean sheets. But Leicester are the best team of their recent opponents and pose an extremely difficult task.

Here are five key players to watch.

5. Bukayo Saka

It has been quite the rise to prominence for 18-year-old Bukayo Saka, but the young midfielder has now established as more than just a first-team starter. He is a full-on key player, a crucial piece of Arteta’s team. And when it comes to big games like this one, Arsenal need him to deliver, so much so that he was rested last week against Norwich City.

The difficulty with Saka, however, is two-fold. First, his age and his potential makes you hesitant to push him into the fire. As Arsenal experienced with the likes of Jack Wilshere, you do not want to overwork young players and ruin their long-term value. Second, and a more immediate issue, is the position to play him.

Saka has played at left-back, left wing-back, both wide positions and in central midfield. His best performances have come at left-back, wing-back or in central midfield, but fitting him and Kieran Tierney into the same team is a little difficult. Arteta may use Saka as a winger once again, then. Arsenal will need him to deliver.
