1. Alexandre Lacazette

It was a huge goal for Alexandre Lacazette. His touch and finish in Arsenal’s 2-0 win at Wolves was his first domestic away goal since February 2019. As Mikel Arteta said after the Wolves victory, it was a massive confidence-booster for a player that has worked immensely hard but not been clinical or fortunate in front of goal:

"“I’m delighted for him because he completely deserved it. It’s been a long time since he scored away from home but he scored a crucial goal for us again. Not only that, but his contribution when he stepped onto the pitch was massive.”"

Should Lacazette can rediscover his 2018/19 form in which he was named the club’s Player of the Season, it could take Arsenal’s attacking unit to a new level. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cannot score all of the goals, while Nicolas Pepe, Saka, and Eddie Nketiah are starting to show signs of improvement in the final third.

If there is one area of the pitch that Arteta is yet to truly unlock, it is his team’s play in and around the penalty area. That sharpness is still lacking. A confident, fit, and firing Lacazette, therefore, would be a huge boost.
