Wingbacks

We actually do have some questions to ask here. While Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin were both brilliant against Leicester City, there are questions to be asked of each of them starting again. For Bellerin, the question is if Cedric Soares has earned enough to be on a regular rotating basis with the Spaniard.

For Tierney, the question is if he’s been playing so much that the risk of injury is growing. Plus, if Nicolas Pepe is going to come back into the starting XI, Bukayo Saka‘s best shot at getting into the XI is going to be as a left wingback.

To answer both of those questions, I think we’re going to see Bellerin and Tierney keep their spots. They were both just so good that it’s not smart to try to figure out rotation now. Not with Tottenham on the docket.

So, yet again, the wingbacks will be crucial to our success.

Midfield is next.
