Front Three

Arsenal. NICOLAS PEPE. 5.5. Started very poorly. Loose touches, not pressing hard, finding himself isolated. Improved from the 20-minute marking, moving into the left half-space to receive the ball more frequently. Flashed a lovely effort just past the far post, gave Ben Davies a tough time when driving forwards with the ball, and looked more dangerous as the game progressed. Ultimately, though, the positive moments he did have were too infrequent.. RW

A little anonymous from Aubameyang. Had two excellent strikes, one to crash the crossbar off his left side, and another curling effort on a half-volley that displayed tremendous technique to control a spinning ball. Other than that, did not really impact the game as Arsenal needed.. LW. Arsenal. PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG. 6.0

ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE. 7.5. An absolutely sensational strike. Picked up the ball on the edge of the area, takes two touches to control the ball and set himself, and then unleashes a rocket into the top corner, flashing past the helpless Hugo Lloris. His hold-up play was excellent throughout, too, and when Arsenal were able to create chances, the moves invariably stemmed from Lacazette dropping into midfield to feed others beyond him.. ST.
