3. Nathan Ake, Bournemouth

Bournemouth is another side who look set to be relegated, after five seasons in the top division. One of their most reliable performers has been former Chelsea center-back Ake. The 25-year old Dutchman is calm on the ball and commanding in the air; his performances have not gone unnoticed, however, as Manchester United are rumored to be interested in the defender.

Arteta seems to really value having a left-footed center-back, particularly when playing with a three-at-the-back formation, and I’m quite certain Ake could play this role better than Sead Kolasinac currently is. It will be interesting to see if Chelsea has some sort of buy-back clause or if United’s interest materializes. In any case, Arsenal should certainly have their eye on him.
