7. Konstantinos Mavropanos

Signed from Greek giants PAS Giannina, Konstantinos Mavropanos’ arrival was always meant to be with an eye on future involvement, no immediate foray into the first team.

Another one of Mislintat’s recommendations, the youngster impressed enough during his early training sessions to earn a place in the Europa League squad just one month later, making his Premier League debut in April of 2018.

At times, he actually looked good. Other times, less so. Is he Arsenal quality? Well, he’s got a mistake in him, so yes (ha..ha). But not that. Is he good enough to improve the ranks? With a very premature view you’d have to say no.

Hence why he signed a new long-term deal with the club and was sent on loan to Mislintat’s new side. If he fulfills his promise and garners interest from afar, then the club could scoop a tidy profit.
