Eddie Nketiah’s Value Becoming Apparent

Eddie Nketiah is a prolific goalscorer. In 1,412 Arsenal minutes (which equates to around 15.5 games), the Englishman has scored eight goals. That is an excellent return for a young striker who is often the subject of criticism. He may not be quite ready to assume a starting role, but he is an incredibly valuable asset.

While he remains an Arsenal player, Lacazette will likely continue to lead the line. However, I am more than comfortable with the Hale End graduate being a super-sub. Besides being a willing runner, his link-up play is improving, and he is guaranteed to score important goals throughout the season with his instincts. Arsenal are fortunate that they can call upon a goalscorer of Nketiah’s quality.
