I’m really going the boring way about this, but I don’t care. The super-consistent trio of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, and Willian (that’s from left to right, for those of you who may be directionally challenged) will start…. and tear it up, for that matter.

As much as I’d love to see Nicolas Pepe have another flyer against Liverpool, he hasn’t shown the consistency we need from him. The veteran voices will prevail, as they so often do under Arteta. Plus, Willian hasn’t lost a step since his London move. In fact, coming off his best-ever season for Chelsea, he looks to be carrying that form to the Emirates.

Eddie Nketiah was a bright spark against Leicester, but that was the limit to his starting time this week. The same goes for Bukayo Saka. Interestingly, Reiss Nelson is the most likely Hale End graduate to touch the An-field on Monday, and he’s been in fine form of late. If he does, let’s hope he can replicate his magic from July’s 2-1 win.

That’s my prediction for the starting XI, although I chipped my crystal ball the other day, so it could be slightly off. However, I think these are the 11 players with the best hope of making an impact at Anfield.
