Willian (RW) – Having played left-winger for 90 minutes on Thursday, Nicolas Pepe looks sure to miss out. As it is, quite simply, Willian is ahead of him in the pecking order. Both players blow hot, lukewarm and cold, but Willian is the more consistent of the two and has better vision in the final third when faced with ten men behind the ball.

It seems fairly nailed on that he’ll be the starting right-winger for the whole season.

Alexandre Lacazette (ST) – Even if this was the first match of the campaign and Lacazette wasn’t coming into it with three goals in three league games, he’d still get the nod against Sheffield United for sheer physicality alone. They eat something different for breakfast up in Yorkshire, with a good few of the Blades’ squad not afraid to throw their bodies on the line for the cause. In either box.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (LW) – Starved of any meaningful service in the most recent league outing, Arsenal will need to get Aubameyang on the ball on the ball a whole lot more if they’re to cause Chris Wilder’s side any trouble. He’s far happier in the team when he’s got Tierney feeding him balls down the left flank, something he was unable to do against Liverpool.
