Midfielders

RCM—Mohamed Elneny

There was a shout for the Egyptian to get yanked in leu of Dani Ceballos, but after the Spaniard played 80 minutes against Molde, it will be the in-form Elneny who starts. Ceballos may make a substitute appearance, but only to provide more creativity. Elneny just doesn’t seem to get tired, does he?

CM—Thomas Partey

This isn’t really a prediction, so much as a fact. He’ll drop to the LCM role out of possession, like he did against Man Utd. I’m really excited to see him lock horns with Douglas Luis.

LCM—Bukayo Saka

Bench the Ealing Eusebio at your own risk. All credit to Jack Collins of Ranks FC for that particular moniker. He’s been a standout and a stalwart this season, and he’s just not slowing down. Big up Bukayo. Expect him to come out looking a bit like a left wing-back at times, especially out of possession. Villa like to use the full width in attack, and his defensive nous will prove key.
