Elneny, Arsenal
LONDON, ENGLAND – DECEMBER 13: James Tarkowski of Burnley argues with Mohamed Elneny of Arsenal during the Premier League match between Arsenal and Burnley at Emirates Stadium on December 13, 2020 in London, England. A limited number of spectators (2000) are welcomed back to stadiums to watch elite football across England. This was following easing of restrictions on spectators in tiers one and two areas only. Midfielders

Mohamed Elneny (CM) – 6/10 – Some dodgy, risky play out from the back was well seen to by Elneny, who dealt well in tight areas and recovered admirably to clean up the inner workings of Burnley forays at goal.

Then he got exceedingly lucky for another example of total lunacy when he miraculously wasn’t sent off for a clear push on James Tarkowski.

Alexandre Lacazette (AM) – 4/10 – Should have scored. Probably twice. He started moving closer to goal as the game wore on, having been totally bypassed for long periods, just as the whole midfield had. His distribution from that central area, when he saw the ball, was slack and inaccurate.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – 0/10 – Doesn’t deserve words. Unfathomable stupidity.
