Forwards

Nicolas Pépé (RW) – Finally, Nicolas Pépé can return to top-flight action. He’s served his three-game ban and since his act of stupidity at Elland Road he’s looked sharp in the Europa League, looking to carry that form into domestic competition. Willian should be nowhere near the first XI.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ST) – Aubameyang simply needs a goal. He just looks so devoid of confidence – an open play goal would change that completely. If Arteta hopes to turn things around at Arsenal, he needs his captain back at his best. Likewise, Aubameyang will be itching to hit the back of the net.

Bukayo Saka (LW) – It speaks volumes that a 19-year-old Bukayo Saka looks far and away our best attacking player right now. The consistent below-par outings from his attacking colleagues in contrast to Saka’s consistency is stark. A continuation of his strong form will be crucial if Arsenal are to beat Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
