Arsenal Predicted Lineup vs Wolves: Martin Ødegaard to Start?
Midfielders
Thomas Partey (CM) – Arsenal’s big money midfielder accepted that he didn’t have his best game on Saturday. However, he seemed happy to have completed his first 90 minutes since his return from injury. Partey will be looking to return to his commanding best at Molineux.
Granit Xhaka (CM) – Due to Thomas Partey’s subpar performance (by his own sky-high standards) against United, it was up to Granit Xhaka to step up. Step up he did. Assured on the ball and disciplined defensively, it was an outing to be satisfied with for the Swiss. He’ll keep his place.
Martin Ødegaard (CAM) – It’s time for Arteta to show us why he signed Martin Ødegaard. The Norwegian was brought in to rotate with Emile Smith Rowe in attacking midfield and a like-for-like swap will be made in that area tomorrow. Smith Rowe didn’t perform badly against Manchester United, he just looked like he wasn’t quite at it in terms of fitness. Rest Smith Rowe, start Ødegaard.
