Arsenal predicted lineup vs Aston Villa: Ryan and Odegaard?
Midfielders
Thomas Partey (CM) – Thomas Partey has been boasting his versatility in the midfield since joining Arsenal. The Ghanaian is superb bursting forward and equally talented defensively. The former Atletico man is one of, and maybe even the first name, on the team sheet. As long as nothing comes up his start is inevitable.
Granit Xhaka (CM) – Despite the fact that Dani Ceballos is fit, Granit Xhaka must keep his place in the lineup ahead of his Spanish counterpart. He has looked rock-solid, and he and Partey complement each other so well that many believe that is an adequate pivot going into the future.
Martin Odegaard (CAM) – Many were under the impression that Martin Odegaard would have played against Wolves, and he most likely would have at some point if the sending offs hadn’t occurred. Now is the time, though.
Emile Smith Rowe looked absolutely shattered in the latter stages of the Wolves match and Odegaard can help provide rotation that allows the former a well-deserved rest.
