Burnley vs Arsenal Score Prediction

Arsenal should win….right?

Brimming with confidence and heading to Turf Moor with an almost entirely clean bill of health that includes their most valuable assets earning some well-deserved rest, the Gunners are the undoubted favourites to secure three points.

The football on show has improved dramatically – chalk and cheese – since the shift from 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 with a recognised No. 10 and add to that the fine form of the captain, Pepe and Odegaard and you’ve got an Arsenal side as well-placed to win a game of football than they have been all season.

On top of that, Burnley are in poor form and struggling for goals. Everyone knows exactly how they will look to set up for Saturday by implementing two solid banks of four and getting men in the box for every dead ball, while they’ll also let the Arsenal players know they’re ‘in a game’ from the get-go.

The interesting side of the selection for Arteta will be in central defence. David Luiz has been solid in the past couple of weeks, even keeping out Rob Holding from the starting lineup, while Pablo Mari was given the nod in the win over Leicester.

With Olympiacos to come five days after Turf Moor, he may keep things as is although it wouldn’t be surprising to see Holding get the nod given he’s arguably the strongest at defending his own box in the air of the quartet.

Regardless of defensive personnel, it would be a crushing blow to leave Burnley without three points. Taking form into account, that shouldn’t happen.
