Arsenal have offered Alexandre Lacazette to three clubs across Europe in the hopes of securing a buyer for the Frenchman in the summer transfer window.

Alexandre Lacazette will leave Arsenal at the end of the season. Every murmur and carefully worded statement on his future leans towards bringing an end to what will be a four-year stint in north London.

Given the financial circumstances facing Arsenal and clubs across Europe, just how much money they can accrue for a striker turning 30 years old in May with just 12 months left to run on his deal will be among the numerous difficulties facing Edu.

Talk has even emerged about the Gunners keeping Lacazette on for the remainder of his contract on a reduced salary.

As per Calcio Mercato, Arsenal have been looking into a renewal on his deal but the forward is uninterested in staying on a reduced wage. Those claims may need taking with a pinch of salt as the signs do point towards a permanent departure to bring in whatever fee feasible.

Nonetheless, those talks have moved on slowly and Lacazette has his sights set on a joining a team with ‘ambition’ where he can be the ‘protagonist’. Roma are the side who’ve been most hotly tipped for a move in the summer, having tried and failed to sign the striker for £30m in the previous summer. Their next offer, should it arrive, will of course not be as high.

With the amicable conclusion on Lacazette’s future being that he can move on during the summer for the right proposal, he has since been offered to Juventus, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

If Lacazette’s ‘protagonist’ thoughts are to be believed then Atletico won’t suit given Luis Suarez’s superb form once again for Los Rojiblancos, while Barcelona are plunged in debt and can barely afford what they have, let alone that they don’t. Juventus have monitored the Frenchman but are making no decisions at this stage.

Roma make a viable option with the club needing a replacement for Edin Dzeko and Borja Mayoral set to cost too much to sign permanently from Real Madrid.

As a dedicated servant, Lacazette deserves the right club, it would just be ideal if club also happens to offer the most money.
