Arsenal Defenders – Cedric Soares, Daniel Ballard, Kieran Tierney

Cedric was rewarded with some fine form in both an unfamiliar left-back role and at right back for Arsenal of late with a first call-up to the Portugal national squad since late 2019.

Daniel Ballard has cemented his place as a Norther Ireland regular, with the on-loan Blackpool centre-back making five international appearances last year. Finally, Kieran Tierney will be asked to play even more minutes with the Scottish side, as they prepare for three crucial World Cup qualifiers.
