Arsenal players on international duty: Who is playing, fixture dates, how to watch, US and UK tv channel
Arsenal Forwards – Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
In rather sadistic circumstances, most Arsenal fans were hoping Bukayo Saka‘s previous hamstring problem would be enough to rule him out of traveling for England this month. He’s recovered from injury – we are happy for him, promise – with it now likely he’ll feature regularly for the Three Lions in three fixtures.
Nicolas Pepe will get the chance to have some minutes in his legs as the Ivory Coast take on Niger and Ethiopia in AFCON qualifiers, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will only play DR Congo with Gabon due to travel restrictions.
There was a first call-up to the England Under-21 side for Emile Smith Rowe, who joins teammate Eddie Nketiah in being available for the group stage fixtures against Switzerland, Portugal and Croatia in Slovenia. The knockout stages will be played in the summer.
