Achraf Hakimi – Inter & Morocco

It would be wrong to mention Morocco and not Achraf Hakimi, who is the standout star for his country.

A player it’s fair to assume is beyond Arsenal’s reach, the club have still been linked with a summer swoop for the right-back/right wing-back/right-winger as they prepare for the likely departure of Hector Bellerin.

Hakimi is in the world class bracket. Scouring across the globe, you’d be hard pressed to find better options in his position.

Operating as a wing-back at Inter, as he did at times with Borussia Dortmund, his best assets tend to be in advanced areas where elite vision and exceptional delivery have become one of Inter’s greatest threats. While a jack of all trades on that flank, he is not a master of none; indeed, he does everything. We haven’t even mentioned his six goals and four assists in Serie A this term, either.

Who, when and where this international break. dark. Next

Inter need to sell at the end of the season as Suning Holdings Group are contemplating selling the club and looking to raise funds. A long shot, but worth watching alongside Mazraoui in the Moroccan national side.
