Arsenal have set their asking price for Hector Bellerin, with talks already being held with a view to moving him on from the club in the summer transfer window.

It does seem, for all the world, as if Hector Bellerin’s long-serving spell in north London is coming to a close.

When the curtain is drawn on his time in red and white it will be a sentimental affair, with the Spaniard boasting a decade of service to the club he has inherited as his own since his arrival, and whose values he’s upheld. It’s time to part ways.

Money will govern the decisions taken at Arsenal in the summer as Edu and co seek to scrambled together whatever finance they can. And they will need to squeeze every penny they can out of their prized assets with the scale of this rebuild utterly terrifying in normal circumstances, let alone in the hands of rookie operators.

Arsenal set Hector Bellerin asking price with Juventus, Barcelona and PSG eyeing a summer transfer

As per Fabrizio Romano, there is a ‘huge chance’ of Bellerin leaving, notes picked up by Calcio Mercato, who add that talks between the 26-year-old and Arsenal have reached an amicable conclusion. Juventus remain extremely keen on his signature and it’s added that the right-back would be open to joining former teammate Aaron Ramsey in Turin, if indeed the Welshman is there next season.

Arsenal won’t give any discount on their valuation, which sits at around €20-€25m (£17-£21m).

It’s a fair price considering his form of late, contract length remaining and the recent omissions of Bellerin from first team action. Arteta appears to be moving away from his countryman based on recent squad decisions, although he will be granted more of a chance following Kieran Tierney’s injury.

Nonetheless, the less he plays his less his value will be.

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are the other interested parties and Arsenal will be hoping for those three sides to show their hand in negotiations in order to raise his price as high up to its maximum.

Achraf Hakimi is the name sitting atop Arsenal’s replacement list – despite being double the price – with interest in Tariq Lamptey said to be cooling. Real Betis’ Brazilian defender Emerson Royal has also been mentioned as a possible summer target.
