Arsenal pull out of shameful European Super League
A Stan Kroenke and KSE-led Arsenal have abandoned the Super League with their tails between their legs after it was confirmed the monstrosity they sought to awake was crumbling before their eyes. After seeing their fellow ‘founding members’ cave in to the vitriol, they have followed suit.
A coup that was years in the planning, dark arts conjuring away in the shadows, has fallen to pieces in two days. A despicable act of greed and selfishness disintegrating before it ever took form. Banished to the history books, but never, ever forgotten.
In the build up to Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Brighton, mass gatherings of protesters from home supporters sent a message that was echoed across the country, and indeed the continent.
This was not the desires of the people who matter in football, the fans, and instead the shameful yearnings of the billionaire owners to expand their empires. A complete lack of care and understanding of European sporting culture, one that sought to rip apart what makes football so special.

As the football world stood behind the Chelsea fans and all those who were prepared to have their say in the matter, it emerged shortly before kick-off (via the BBC) that the Blues had began getting cold feet.
It then emerged that Manchester City had gone one better: they confirmed their withdrawal. Like dominoes, they all started to fall. The sheer incompetence of a malicious and misguided plan. It’s astounding.
And then there was Arsenal. They, along with Manchester United and Liverpool – the trio with North American owners – were the harbingers of this sickening move, and despite Arsenal’s meek efforts to stand tall, they too resigned from their insidious plan, as confirmed on the official club website.
"A excerpt read: “We made a mistake, and we apologise for it.“Our aim is always to make the right decisions for this great football club, to protect it for the future and to take us forward. We didn’t make the right decision here, which we fully accept.”"
Up on Sunday night and down on Tuesday evening. The cracks had already began to show before Arsenal had even informed their staff and squad. Abhorrent operations by those not fit to be in charge of football clubs.
These wounds will never heal. The owners unable to hide in their ranches will taste the bitterness each supporter feels deep down. Efforts were made to repair bridges, more communication, reasons to be ‘excited’ to the tune of £72m.
However, the KSE relationship with is surely irrevocably broken. No suave PR will fix this. This is not football.
