Bukayo Saka (RW) – He will not rest. But then again, he won’t want to since unlike many others in the squad, Saka has something huge to play for until the end of the season. He surely has booked his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad, and while winning football matches for Arsenal is, of course, what he wants, he won’t accept rest at any stage to cement that spot. Neither will Arteta, he’ll bleed him dry.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ST) – No involvement at all on the weekend, a return to the starting lineup is expected for the captain who will hope to exploit the relative lack of pace that Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger possess. That’s easier said than done against a brilliantly organised Chelsea side.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – Two starts in a row? Based off of two elements, one being that Pepe has played back-to-back 90 minutes recently and that Arteta reverting to a normal 4-2-3-1 setup would indicate a return for inverted wingers to match the full-backs behind them.

That, and Martinelli has a memorable moment from this stadium and linked up well with Aubameyang against Newcastle.
