The engrossing ‘All Or Nothing’ Amazon documentaries allowed Arsenal fans to get an insight into Tottenham’s interior meltdowns and the beginning of the end for Jose Mourinho. It was great fun. Full behind the scenes access and popcorn by the bucketload.

And that is where it should stay. That part of north London was as close as the Amazon cameras should have got to Arsenal. Not the case, however.

As confirmed by Arsenal, the next edition of the well-loved series is going to be on Arsenal. Filming starts in two weeks.

From Amazon’s point of view they couldn’t have chosen a better ‘victim’. Amid the most important summer of transfer activity most supporters will have ever known, with Mikel Arteta’s job on the line in the opening months of the Premier League season and all the drama imaginable a daily occurrence for the Gunners, they’ll surely break viewing records.

Arsenal to feature in Amazon’s next ‘All Or Nothing’ documentary as Mikel Arteta’s side will be filmed throughout 2021/22 Premier League campaign

As for Arsenal, this just feels like the most unwanted distraction.

All or Nothing: Arsenal will be produced by 72 Films, executive produced by Mark Raphael, Clare Cameron and three-time BAFTA winner John Douglas. The series will launch exclusively on Prime in 2022.

"“We are looking forward to giving our fans around the world a unique insight into how we work day to day. We have one of the biggest global followings in the game and one consistent thing we hear from fans is their desire to see more about what happens behind closed doors at the club,” said Mark Gonnella, Arsenal’s Media and Communications Director.“All or Nothing will give our fans and sport lovers an opportunity to learn more about what makes Arsenal such a special club, our trophy laden history and our ambitions for future success.”"

Absolutely nothing can go wrong. Nothing at all. It’s a fabulous idea, right? It really doesn’t feel like it, on. Arsenal need the extra cash, but…this?

It isn’t surprising, however, since KSE have done this with the LA Rams in the past.

"“We’re excited to have the opportunity to go behind the scenes at Arsenal to capture the exhilaration and drama of a unique season at the club,” said Clare Cameron, Executive Producer, 72 Films.“The opportunity to get close-up access to a squad of talented young players, both on and off the pitch, see the return of the fans to football and understand what makes Arsenal such an iconic club, will make for a compelling All or Nothing series.”"

It goes without saying that supporters of Arsenal or otherwise will not be able to take their eyes off of this. Like some kind of twisted spell, no matter how agonising it may be it will nonetheless have viewers captivated.

‘Losing at home to Norwich was awful and that, but now let’s wait and see how Arteta rips into Bernd Leno for fumbling that shot!’

Next. Arsenal stance on Aouar. dark

The show will be available in 2022 to Amazon Prime viewers. A roaring happy camp en route to a Premier League title? Or the demise of Arsenal Football Club as we know it? Either way, we’ll be watching with peeled eyes. Would rather not, though.
