Bukayo Saka (RW) – Back out on the right having played on the left in midweek, despite a strong showing against the Baggies and being one of the better players against Chelsea, Nicolas Pepe is likely to be the one to drop out from the front line.

Given how deep Arsenal will have to be at times, they’ll need someone who can collect possession and separate himself from markers in tight spaces as well as carry the ball, which makes Pepe a more ideal impact substitute.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (ST) – Arteta can’t, and won’t, not field the captain. A hat-trick ball sat in the garden for the kids to play with and a beaming smile at the full-time whistle has Aubameyang in the best spirits he can be in for this one.

He has to be aggressive with his runs and look to play on Aymeric Laporte’s shoulder, who is at his weakest when he’s facing his own goal. Most defenders tend to be, as shocking as it sounds.

Emile Smith Rowe (LW) – Back out on the left and his first appearance alongside Odegaard since the midfielder re-joined.

As an effective operator in the left half-space zones, eyes will be on him rekindling the chemistry with Odegaard that saw the added centrality of the Norwegian bring creativity to Arsenal’s forward across different angles and limit the reliance on the left flank.
