Midfielders

Frida Maanum (CM) – 7/10 – So secure technically, Maanum has slotted into the Arsenal midfield three with such ease following her summer move and again on Wednesday she was a composed figure in the centre of the park.

She showed superb close control throughout and kept Arsenal ticking along as they pressed and probed for a route through the Danish side’s low block.

Lia Walti (DM) – 6/10 – Saw plenty of possession sitting in the deep lying playmaker position as every time the ball was recycled it was Walti who acted as the visionary trying to feed passes through the lines and out wide.

Jordan Nobbs (CM) – 8/10 – A tidy showing from Nobbs who added some energy in midfield and was key in some of the stickier moments where Arsenal needed her composure. Grabbed the goal her performance warranted. Ran the show.
