Substitutes

Conor Gallagher – 7/10 – A richly deserved debut for Gallagher who has been in exceptional form for Crystal Palace under Patrick Vieira this season. Looked sharp.

Ben Chilwell – 6/10 – Came on as a second half substitute and ended up playing in just about any position he wanted with no defending required.

Tammy Abraham – 8/10 – What could have been? Abraham’s delightful flick from Saka’s cross was perfectly weighted for Smith Rowe to grab England’s fourth.

Could that have been at Arsenal this season? Mikel Arteta sure wanted to make it happen.

John Stones – N/A – Was on for 20 minutes but had nothing to do.
