Arsenal vs Newcastle Score Prediction

The Newcastle side heading to the Emirates will be unlike any seen in these parts for many years. Usually pragmatic and resilient – to a certain degree – Howe wants his teams to take the game to the opposition no matter the gulf in class – and it could make for an entertaining encounter.

One that should, however, play into Arsenal’s hands.

With only one game under his belt and him not even being able to take training between his first and second matches, it is a lot to ask of a side to completely change their style in such a short space of time. He has to start getting the best out of the likes of Joe Willock, while the magician up front in Allan Saint-Maximin is probably quite an easy character to manage: take the ball and make things happen.

Having a pitiful goal difference in the Premier League and scoring fewer goals than their winless opponents, Arsenal need a resounding victory somewhere to lift the spirits.

If 1-0 and 2-0 wins see the team through into Europe come the end of the season then so be it, nobody will complaing, but to start quelling the very real issue of chance creation and goal conversion, a confident and comfortable win by more than the odd goal would sit very well.

With Manchester United and Everton in back-to-back away games coming up, they will need it. Coming up against a Championship level defence, they should get it.
