Everton vs Arsenal Premier League preview: How to watch, lineups, selection calls & prediction
Arsenal Team News vs Everton – Dominic Calvert-Lewin Still Absent
It looks set to be a case of rotation for Monday night as Arteta aims to shuffle his pack for a second Premier League evening trip to the north west in five days.
Bukayo Saka was on the bench at Old Trafford and looks fit to be involved from the start, while Emile Smith Rowe was blowing his lungs out by the 55th minute and could well be handed a rest ahead of the home visit of Southampton.
Granit Xhaka remains the obvious absentee as he continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury, although he is on the right track and has been seen taking part in light training with his teammates on the road to recovery.
Sead Kolasinac continues to be absent with an ankle issue.
It is the hosts who have the majority of injures to contend with. Benitez has been unable to call upon Arsenal target Dominic Calvert-Lewin since matchweek three of the season which has been a huge loss to them, with Soloman Rondon yet to get off the mark. The Englishman is definitely out injured, with Rondon also a doubt.
In midfield there will be no Tom Davies, with Andre Gomes set for late fitness tests to determine whether he could be involved. It is the same for Yerry Mina, who has been out of action since matchweek seven and a late call will be made on him.
