Bukayo Saka (RW) – Getting through the Everton game unscathed was a welcome relief for Arsenal with the star boy a vital cog in the Arsenal team, and one of the only players who can hold that right side on the pitch.

In this team’s system, it’s arguably the toughest position to play.

Eddie Nketiah (ST) – It was going to be Aubameyang until Friday night’s revelation, which seems to open the door for Nketiah to come in and be given the chance that Arteta is desperate to hand him in order to try and convince him to stay at the club.

With this opening, it may be what Arteta goes for.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – It might be a risk to field Smith Rowe given he couldn’t even make the squad against Everton, even if Arsenal sorely need his presence in the team.

With Martinelli being passed fit and the Hale Ender still being monitored, it might be in the manager’s thinking to field Gabi as his pace will be a valuable tool in a transitional game, while it also gives Smith Rowe more time to recover ahead the Premier League visit of West Ham.
