Arsenal vs Burnley Score Prediction

In terms of the ideal match following the disappointment of a cup semi-final exit, hosting bottom of the table Burnley ranks highly.

The Clarets have played only twice this month and not since January 8, which while some may suggest could mean they’ll be extra fit, their non-stop Covid cases and injuries has seen multiple matches called off – which nobody is bothered about because it’s not Arsenal – and they’ll be lacking match sharpness.

Dyche’s side have not won in any of their ten away matches this season, scoring only eight goals and picking up a measly four points. Even with a considerable amount of matches in hand on those around them, there is no denying that they’re in a relegation dogfight and losing their top goalscorer is a hammer blow to them.

They’re trying to scramble a deal for Andy Carroll, which says enough about where they are.

Arsenal were also visibly dead on their feet against Liverpool. Partey’s red card was exceedingly frustrating as his return would have done wonders for squad fitness and rotation, with it now looking like the same team may have to play again.

Even with that in mind, it should be three points for Arsenal. It has to be.

And it will be.
