Bukayo Saka (RW) – It’s nice heading into matches where you know Saka will start without worrying how fatigued he may be from the previous outing. With nine days separating the two matches, as well as Saka being withdrawn with 20 minutes to go at Wolves, he’ll be fresh as a daisy.

As if he never isn’t.

Alexandre Lacazette (ST) – He was dead on his feet with 25 minutes to go at Wolves, which won’t be the last time he’s blowing well before the referee does likewise with the final whistle.

Another 70 or so minutes form the captain, preferably this time with fewer missed chances, will do just fine.

Emile Smith Rowe (LW) – One man’s misfortune is another man’s opportunity. Martinelli took his chance in the side when Smith Rowe suffered injury and now it’s the Hale Ender’s time to take advantage of his friend and teammate’s red card.

Arsenal will play differently with Smith Rowe in the team, likely seeing more of Tierney on the overlap, and nobody is in any way worried about the top scorer coming into the side in place of Martinelli. It’s arguably the best red card Arsenal could have had across the whole starting XI.
