4. Incredible Attitude and Commitment

"“Football is so intense,” White said in October. “You come in every day giving 100 per cent. All I want to do is go home and not think about it, then come in in the morning fresh and ready to give 100 per cent again. “I watch myself for analytical reasons. I wouldn’t just sit down and watch a game. “I didn’t ever watch football when I was younger. I still don’t now. I just loved the game, I was always playing it, never watching.”"

When this ‘revelation’ was made it annoyed a large number of supporters. How dare someone who is at the absolute top of their game and commits every minute of his work life to his profession not be then infatuated with it every minute he’s not at work?

It sparked debate over whether White cares enough as, given how obsessive fans are, the concept of him not being at an equal pegging was incomprehensible.

But nobody can watch the 24-year-old play and question his attitude. He puts in all the work needed, and more, to ensuring he is elite mental and physical shape.

There is an undying love for defending and winning in him. If you haven’t already, watch back every goal Arsenal have scored this season and focus in on White. He goes ballistic every time.

He’s a professional sportsman, so obvious competitiveness comes into it, but he uses that to his advantage on the pitch. Aaron Ramsdale even humorously revealed White told him he wanted to punch him every time he made a save because he was so overjoyed.

While he may draw comparisons to reality TV show stars, he’s hard as nails. His attitude and passion show in the tackles. White does not take sh*t from anyone.

So what if he prefers a dog walk over a Champions League tie, or that he doesn’t know who Tony Adams is? White is absolutely committed to Arsenal Football Club, gives 100% every single match and lets his passion shine through. Fans and teammates alike feed off of that.
