Arsenal Team News vs Liverpool – Will Tomiyasu be Fit to Play?

Arteta named the same team he fielded at Watford for the fifth time this season with Cedric keeping his spot at right-back in place of the injured Takehiro Tomiyasu.

While he’s done well, the cracks are starting to appear. He isn’t defensively stable enough and the sooner Tomiyasu gets back from injury, the better.

Unfortunately it is unlikely he will for Wednesday. No involved in the squad at all against Leicester, it will require an almighty turnaround for him to be passed fit.

Other than that there are no known injury issues for Arsenal from a night where events ran as smoothly as they could have.

In regards to Liverpool, there are question marks over the world’s best player.

Mohamed Salah picked up a foot injury in their win over Brigthon, and although he was walking unaided, there was clearly some pain for the Egyptian to deal with. Good thing it’s only Diogo Jota who is around to fill in, eh?

Elsewhere for Klopp’s side it might be touch and go for Ibrahima Konate to make the squad after missing the Brighton win, in what is the only other injury concern for the title chasers.
