2. Get Alexandre Lacazette Back Scoring

Poor Lacazette. Every time there is an international break it’s a mass exodus of players jetting off around the world to represent their nations while he’s left behind. He must get genuinely lonely.

Didier Deschamps hasn’t selected him for an international squad since 2017 and his chances of breaking that duck grow slimmer by the minute.

If he were to score a few goals it might help, which is something all parties involved would be most pleased about.

In the past few outings the major gripe with Lacazette has been his positioning in and around the box. It’s not a new complaint, but it’s been very noticeable in matches against Wolves, Watford, Liverpool and Villa where he’s effectively stood in the area of least threat.

Whether it be a few video sessions to look at the positions he picks up or maybe a highlights reel of Olivier Giroud’s near post runs, he has to unearth some modicum of killer instinct in these final few games of his Arsenal career to push the team towards their goals.

He’s desperately craving that open play goal – as witnessed when he shot instead of laying the ball off to Martin Odegaard in acres of space against Villa – and it’s something he can help himself with by attacking the right areas of the box.
