Substitutes

Gabriel Martinelli – 7/10 – Gave Arsenal everything they didn’t have previously. He immediately lifted the the technical level with some clever runs and one-touch play.

Eddie Nketiah – 5/10 – He tried, which is more than he did at Villa.

Sambi Lokonga – 7/10 – Came on for the injured Thomas Partey to truly compound the worst night of the whole season. But, on the positive side, he did not look like a man who’d barely played in 2022. A very decent cameo from him with some nice touches, movements and energy.
