Bukayo Saka (RW) – Will play no matter what.

The issue facing Saka at the moment, much like some others, is that the lack of goal threat from the centre-forward is heaping huge pressure on his shoulders to score. That said, he should have put Arsenal in front against Southampton.

Can’t afford another such miss.

Eddie Nketiah (ST) – It doesn’t appear as if Lacazette is going to be back in time. Even if he was to return to training on Tuesday, such are his dreadful fitness levels that he’ll need time just to get back up to lasting 60 minutes.

That means there could be another start for Nketiah, this time at his former stomping ground.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – Some days it just doesn’t click for Gabi. Southampton was one such day.

It’s now imperative, just as with Saka, that the wide players for Arsenal are posing a threat in matches. With Martinelli and Saka swapping sides in the first half against Southampton neither of them got close enough to goal, so hopefully Arteta sees sense and moves them to their favoured positions.
